A Year in Reflection – From Claire at ProMatch

As 2025 comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on what has truly been a transformative year - both personally and professionally. This was the year I took a huge leap of faith, moving away from employment to start ProMatch Consultancy.

There were moments where I questioned what I was doing and it has taken hard work and adjustment. But it has also been incredibly rewarding - a year of growth, resilience and building something that reflects my values.

Building partnerships & supporting people.

One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been reconnecting with relationships I’ve built over the years and developing them further through ProMatch. I’m genuinely grateful for the trust and support shown by these clients as I’ve taken this leap into building something new.

Equally, a highlight has been supporting fantastic people into their next opportunities - seeing them thrive, hearing their feedback about their roles and knowing that the guidance and services ProMatch provided made a difference.

Helping people build a better life through work is at the heart of why I do this and it’s been fantastic to get back to that side of the role. I’ve also had the opportunity to welcome new clients, including businesses in the HR consultancy space, which has broadened the scope of the work we do and deepened the impact we can make.

Compliance & Confidence

Behind the scenes, we’ve worked hard to build streamlined, compliant processes. A recent GLAA new business audit was successfully completed, reflecting the care and attention we put into compliance and worker welfare. It’s reassuring to know that the systems built are robust and audit-ready, giving clients confidence in the way we operate.

Looking ahead to 2026

This year has exceeded my expectations and I’m excited to see what comes next. Early in 2026, we’re excited to welcome a new team member - an important step that will give ProMatch the additional resource to grow our client base while enhancing existing relationships. This will ensure we continue to deliver the high level of service and personal attention that clients and candidates value. We’ll also be building deeper specialism in the key markets we work in, giving clients even more targeted expertise and insight. Alongside this, I’ll be refining processes and introducing smarter automation to reduce admin and streamline workflows - ensuring our time and energy are focused on what matters most: delivering exceptional service and strengthening relationships with clients and candidates.
